1. WHAT ARE PIDPLATES?
	PIDPLATES (personal - identification - plates) are an exclusive and impressive form of badging, which appeals to all. PIDPLATES are a unique and stylish way to draw people's attention to your homepage, company, products, services...
2. HOW MUCH WILL MY PIDPLATES COST?
	A PIDPLATE costs $NZ149.00 / $AUD 139.00 incl GST, plus shipping costs. Price bases on up to 25 characters. Please contact us if you would like a quote for more than 25 characters or for orders of larger quantities. An order number is required when ordering, this can be found on the back of your brochure or by selecting ‘how did you hear about us’ (on the order page).
3. CAN I ORDER OVER 25 CHARACTERS?
	Yes! We are able to produce orders with over 25 characters. Please contact us to discuss the particulars for these orders (by clicking the contact button on the Left Hand Side of this page).
4. WHAT ARE THE SHIPPING COSTS?

5. HOW ARE PIDPLATES MADE?
	PIDPLATES are manufactured using an injection moulding procedure: PIDPLATES are made from the same high-quality material as the badging on most high end car manufactures. The injection moulding process is carried out in Austria, with the chroming done in Germany. The quality of the chrome plating is such that your PIDPLATE will not be damaged by rain, snow, sun etc. A condition for the design was that PIDPLATES must look as if they belong to the original equipment. All letters and/or symbols have been tested and are likely to survive your car's life span.
6. HOW MANY CHARACTERS CAN I HAVE ON MY PIDPLATES?
	You may have as many characters as you like on your PIDPLATES. A standard PIDPLATE contains upto 25 characters. For orders of over 25, please contact us for a quote.
7. WHICH CHARACTERS CAN I PUT ON MY PIDPLATES?
	The following characters are permitted: A-Z a-z 0-9 www @ & ( ) ? ! , . ' " + $ _ - ♥
8. WHAT ARE THE DIMENSIONS OF A PIDPLATES?
	A PIDPLATES with 25 symbols has a length of approx. 45cm. Of course, if you require fewer symbols, your PIDPLATES will be smaller. Small letters like a, c, e, n have a height of 2.2 cm. Letters like b, d, f, t are 3,2 cm high. Letters like A, B, C, D are likewise 3.2 cm high. The symbols' width varies.
9. ARE THERE DIFFERENT FONT TYPES?
	There are no different types of font, only that shown in the illustration. This allows us to specialise and provide PIDPLATES at a cost effective price.
10. HOW DO I ATTACH MY PIDPLATES?
	The PIDPLATES are attached by removing the backing foil from the self-adhesive back and then by pressing on it. The surface must be clean, dry and smooth before attachment (use a cleaning cloth for instance). If car polish or a similar product has been used before, we recommend cleaning the surface with the included alcoholic wipe. The surrounding temperature during attachment shouldn't be below 15° Celsius (59° F). In lower temperatures, use a hair dryer to warm up the surface as well as the back of the PIDPLATES before attachment, in order to strengthen the self-adhesive process. Now remove the protection foil, place the PIDPLATES where you want to attach it and press hard with both hands. For optimal adhesive strength leave the surface 24hrs. before other treatments (e.g. washing the car).

11. WHAT CAN BE WRITTEN ON THE PIDPLATES?
	Anything you want! You decide! There are PIDPLATES with homepage addresses (URLs), as well as e-mail addresses, names of companies or products, slogans and messages, phone numbers, etc.
12. WHO BUYS PIDPLATES?
	Anyone… Companies, small and medium businesses, auto clubs, schools, universities, taxi drivers, car dealers, service providers, entrepreneurs, Government departments ...
13. ARE PIDPLATES FBT ELIGIBLE?
	Yes!! We have written confirmation from the NZ IRD, to confirm PIDPLATES do satisfy the sign writing requirements for claiming back Fringe Benefit Tax.
14. WHAT DO PEOPLE DO WITH THEIR PIDPLATES?
	PIDPLATES are usually bought for advertising and promotional purposes. PIDPLATES can also be used as an incentive, reward or present to customers or employees.
15. WHERE CAN PIDPLATES BE ATTACHED?
	PIDPLATES are usually attached to vehicles (cars, taxis, buses, trucks, boats) but also in offices, on computers, laptops, shop windows, walls, file cabinets, wardrobes, mailboxes, suitcases, refrigerators, ... PIDPLATES give you unlimited application possibilities!
16. HOW CAN PIDPLATES BE REMOVED?
	A PIDPLATES can be removed at any time with a plastic spatula. If any glue remains, you can rub it off by hand with the help of a hair dryer. You can also have your PIDPLATES removed by your local sign writer. PIDPLATES can be removed without leaving any residue. The surface finish will not be affected.
17. DOES THE PIDPLATES COME WITH A GUARANTEE?
	If a symbol becomes faulty as a result of normal use, it is replaced free of charge.
18. HOW DO I ORDER MY PIDPLATES?
	Order your PIDPLATES online via our secure order form (signed by TC TrustCenter), where we accept Master Card or Visa. You can also pay by bank transfer, cheque etc. Your PIDPLATES will be produced as soon as the payment is cleared. An order number is required when ordering. This can be found on the folder/brochure or advertisement. If you do not have an order number, this will be produced by selecting ‘how did you hear about us’. You can find additional information on our order page.
19. HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY PIDPLATES?
	Due to the fact that every order is made to individual specifications, the delivery time is 2-4 working days. Under exceptional circumstances delivery may take longer.
20. HOW DO I PAY FOR MY PIDPLATES?
	The following options are available; * Credit Card * PayPal * Cheque * Direct Credit Credit card payments are available during the ordering process (Visa and MasterCard accepted). PayPal is available if you have an available PayPal account. Direct Credit details will be provided after an order has been placed. Cheques can be made out to “PIDPLATES Ltd” and should be sent to: PIDPLATES Ltd, 53 Ferndale Road, Mt Wellington, Auckland 1060, New Zealand. Please make reference to the order ID when paying by cheque, or direct credit.
